At Veltiston AI Greece, we are a passionate team of engineers building real-world AI and machine learning applications. Together with our colleagues at Veltiston AI Morocco, we form the Veltiston.AI Group, a cross-national organization that is steadily growing.
Our group was founded by Professor Dimitris Bertsimas of the MIT Sloan School of Management, who also founded Dynamic Ideas, a Boston-based company with over 25 years of history. Professor Bertsimas leads a broad ecosystem of companies, primarily based in Boston, which apply advanced Operations Research and Machine Learning across a wide range of sectors — including finance, supply chain, routing, revenue management, healthcare, legal, and education.
Within this ecosystem, Veltiston AI plays a central role as the software development hub. We co-engineer advanced analytics platforms and decision-support tools that support innovation across various clients, portfolio companies, and domains.
About this role:
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React, Angular, or both. Experience with at least one is enough!
Translate product requirements and mockups into high-quality, responsive user interfaces
Collaborate with international team members
Participate in feature planning, sprint reviews, and technical discussions
Take ownership of frontend components and advocate for best practices in usability, performance, and accessibility
We are looking for someone with :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field. (e.g. Software Engineering)
1-3 years of professional experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular (knowledge of both is a plus, but not required)
Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and using tools like Figma
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and good work ethics
Interest in contributing beyond coding e.g., in product discussions, architecture, or process improvements
Good to have :
A full-stack mindset and good backend understanding (Java, Node.js, APIs, etc.)
Experience working with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2)
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
